• Digital payments: Pay@ also supports fast, secure digital payment methods including in-app banking, card payments, EFT, and Pay with In App options such as SnapScan, Zapper, and Scan to Pay. This means you can pay your monthly FoneYam payments instantly from your phone without needing to visit a store.

How to pay for FoneYam digitally with Pay@

• Get your unique Pay@ reference number

Once you activate your FoneYam device, you’ll receive a unique Pay@ reference number. This is an 18-digit number which is the same number as your FoneYam contract reference number.

• Choose your digital payment method

You can pay using any of the following:

• In-app banking (search for “Pay@” or “Pay Bills” and enter your unique Pay@ reference number starting with 11136)
• Card payment directly through supported digital channels
• EFT through your banking app using your unique Pay@ reference number
• Pay with In App options: SnapScan, Zapper, or Scan to Pay

• Complete your payment

Enter your reference number when prompted and pay the amount due.

• Receive instant confirmation

Your payment will reflect immediately, and your FoneYam rental payments will be updated automatically.

How to pay in-store (if you prefer paying at a retailer)

• Take your Pay@ reference number to any Pay@ retail partner (Pep, Ackermans, Shoprite, Pick n Pay, Boxer, Spar, Game, Makro and others).
• Give the cashier your Pay@ reference number.
• Pay using cash or card.
• Receive instant confirmation.
• Once the payment is processed, you’ll get immediate confirmation from Pay@ and your FoneYam order will be updated automatically. Keep your receipt as proof of payment. This is particularly important in case you need to check your device status or report any issues.
