Senior Business & Systems Analyst
Pay@, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions is looking for a Senior Business & Systems Analyst to join their growing team.
Pay@ offers innovative and customer-focused payment solutions for both banked and unbanked individuals. Our team specialises in convenient and secure payment solutions for retailers, digital solutions, banking institutions, wallets, and informal vendors across Southern Africa.
The focus is a combined business and system analysis function to enhance the efficiencies of gathering business and system requirements, formulating solutions & models, and documenting operational and system processes and procedures.
Responsibilities will include:
- Gather and document business requirements from both internal and external stakeholders
- Bridge the gap between business and technical teams by translating business requirements into technical / functional requirements and plans
- Solution design
- Assist business in documenting operational procedures and presentation flows
- Assist in gathering and documenting reporting requirements
- Maintain and manage changes to requirements during a project phase
- Learn and document the existing systems to a sufficient depth for requirement analysis
- Work closely within PMO to support priority projects and manage backlog grooming with the product owners and project manager
- Manage and update BA documents and ensure the availability and approval
- Support UAT and testing requirements to ensure that features were delivered as per documented requirements and within acceptable quality standards
- Ongoing monitoring and re-calibration of deployed solutions
Required skills and experience
- Systems Analysis insight and IT technical background
- 5 -8 years’ business and system analysis experience
- Experience in the payments / financial industry would be highly beneficial
- Understanding of the end-to-end payments environment (retailers, digital, banking, card schemes, EFT, settlement, acquiring, etc.)
- Relevant qualification
- Full understanding of the Microsoft suite, Draw.IO, Jira and Visio
- Driver’s license
- Fluent in English and ideally Afrikaans

Customer Relationship Manager
Stellenbosch / Johannesburg
Are you an innovative, resourceful self-starter, with excellent client acquisition and sales skills?
The successful candidate will act as key interface between billers and departments within Pay@ by servicing current existing billers as well as identifying and onboarding new billers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Growing transaction volumes of current billers through the delivery of existing and new innovative solutions
- Sourcing & onboarding of new high-volume billers
- Grow transaction volumes through retailer and digital payment networks
- Develop strategic partnerships and networks (banks, referral partners, etc.)
- Identify and present innovative new solutions & strategic opportunities to grow the business & enhance business processes
- In conjunction with Marketing Manager, maintain marketing presence at billers and payment networks
- Support query management across Pay@ departments
- Sales volume analysis, forecasting, and improving of sales processes
- Reporting
- Administration and documentation
- and any other relevant duties related to the role.
Essential requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification;
- Proven experience in a similar sales/enterprise level client relationship management role within the payments or financial services industry;
- Excellent communication and report writing skills;
- Fluent in English (Afrikaans will be beneficial);
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite);
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
* Note that this is a hybrid role, and will require time in office.
